From a Small Raft to Costa Rica’s Most Trusted Adventure Company
Wave Expeditions was founded in 2008 by a group of passionate local guides from La Fortuna, Costa Rica. What started with one raft on the Balsa River has grown into a full-service adventure company that has hosted over 25,000 travelers from around the world.
Every guide on our team was born and raised in the La Fortuna and Arenal region. They know every bend of the river, every animal in the jungle, and every story behind the landscape. That local knowledge is what makes a Wave tour different from anything else you’ll find.
